Local-Global Community Engagement and Development

Growing up in vibrant and bustling city of Karachi, Pakistan the value of community was and continues to be an integral part of my identity. The great writer and feminist Audre Lorde said, "without community there is no liberation" - and I couldn't agree more.

My experience working with, in and for communities has taught me the deep rooted complexities of community engagement and development. From experience in community partnerships and outreach with large multi-faceted organizations to working in local-global development contexts, I recognize the care and consideration this work takes.
